As part of our Classic Balearic Trance Takeover, our very own Phil Johnston decided to take on the mammoth task of recreating arguably one of the most iconic Trance tracks of all time, and certainly from the 90s Balearic era, Energy 52's Café Del Mar (Three 'N One Remix).
In this epic video, Phil and Chris walk us through the sounds, the hardware originally used, the processes undertaken, and the sheer genius of the original track, while reminiscing about how music production differed back in the day and how technology helped shape that golden age of dance music.
