Taking our courses to the next level, here on Sonic you can now watch the track being made, download both the project and stems, and then submit your own remix with the chance to win some great and exclusive prizes.

The How To Make Darkwave Remix Contest is exclusive, here on Sonic Academy and you could be in with a chance of winning some cool prizes and ultimately getting a release on the brand new Sonic Academy Record Label!
We know we have one of the best music-making communities anywhere, and the level of production skillz coming through the forums is truly amazing.
So, we are super excited to see what you guys can come up with - we know you can smash it. You can now download the stems from this awesome tune and start working your magic!
We have shown you how to make the tune, now it's over to you to get creative, make an awesome remix of this track and show the world your production talent.

We will also have two amazing runner-up prizes.
If you’ve created the second-best remix, you’ll win a £100 Sonic Sounds Store Voucher + ANA 2 + KICK 3.
The third-place wins a £50 Sonic Sounds Store Voucher

Competition Rules

*Depending on the quality of the winning release the tracks will be released! However, Sonic Academy Records always have the right to refuse the release if they feel the quality is sub-standard.

1. Users can enter only 1 song into the competition.
2. The competition is open only to Sonic Academy registered users.
3. Files and Resources provided are fully copyrighted and permitted only for use for the purposes of this competition.
4. Submission must be an original production by the submitter other than the underlying Files and Resources
5. Cannot sample any other artist or any pre-existing works; tracks containing any samples or pre-existing works will not be considered.
6. The winner shall be required to enter into a formal agreement with Sonic Academy Records should Sonic Academy Records desire to release winner’s submission; such agreement shall grant Sonic Academy Records all copyright in and to the master recording.
7. Nothing contained herein shall grant you the right to use the Sonic Academy Records name, logo, for any purposes whatsoever
8. Submissions may not be released or distributed for any purposes or through any media whatsoever except by Label in its sole discretion
